Had an epic time munching on local gems! Michalis served up top-notch recommendations, particularly for Ta Gourounakia, where the grilled meats are a must-try. Splashing around in the pool was a dream, and George at reception felt like an old mate, making us feel at home instantly.
Breakfast was shockingly basic—a routine of boiled eggs, bacon, and no olives? The only coffee option was awful filter coffee unless you wanted to cough up for a machine brew. Plus, parking was a pain. late arrivals may spend ages hunting for a spot on that steep hill!

During our 2-night stay, the pool area quickly became our favorite spot, with ample sunbeds and refreshing cocktails available. We also enjoyed the stunning views from the rooftop while having breakfast, offering a beautiful backdrop of Rethymno. The spacious room was a surprise, equipped with a comfortable bed and a clean, modern bathroom, making our stay rather pleasant. However, we found the parking situation challenging and opted to walk to the 15-minute distant city center instead.

The rooftop breakfast spread was a delightful way to start each day, featuring homemade cakes like the fresh cream cakes that were simply irresistible. Staff members went above and beyond, providing excellent service and assisting with local recommendations. However, the location necessitated a bit of a walk to explore the nearby attractions, and parking was somewhat challenging. Additionally, while the room was comfortable, some amenities could use a refresh for a more enjoyable stay.
